The service

Loomscribe is a NotebookLM-style AI workspace for Loom videos. You paste a public or unlisted Loom share link, and Loomscribe extracts the transcript and metadata from the publicly accessible Loom data, generates AI artifacts such as summaries, action items, and topics, lets you chat with the transcript, and can produce AI dubbing and translation. Loomscribe never edits or re-uploads your original Loom recording. The service depends on third-party providers and AI models, and results are generated automatically; we do not guarantee that AI output is complete, accurate, or fit for any particular purpose.

Accounts

To use most features you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login credentials secure, and to be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to register. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorization. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and, if you use Google sign-in, for the security of the Google account you connect.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Loomscribe lawfully and responsibly. In particular, you agree not to:

• Submit or process Loom videos that you do not own or otherwise have the right to access and process.
• Upload, generate, or distribute unlawful, infringing, harmful, or abusive content through the service.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or circumvent the security or rate limits of the service, or abuse the extraction features to scrape content at scale.
• Use the service to violate the rights of others, including privacy and intellectual property rights.
• Resell or misrepresent the service, or use it in a way that could damage or bring Loomscribe into disrepute.

You are solely responsible for the Loom links you submit and for confirming that you have the right to process the underlying recordings.

Your content & ownership

You retain ownership of the content you submit and of the notebooks, transcripts, and AI artifacts created from it. You grant Loomscribe a limited license to process, store, and display that content solely to provide the service to you — for example, to extract transcripts, generate artifacts, run chat, and produce dubbing or translation. Loomscribe does not claim ownership of your content and does not use the content of your notebooks to advertise to you. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything important; while we take reasonable steps to safeguard your data, you should not rely on the service as your only backup.

Free plan & free tools

Loomscribe offers a Free plan that includes 1 notebook, up to 3 videos, and up to 100 chat messages, along with AI summaries, action items, and topics. We also provide free tools at /tools — such as Loom transcription — that require no account. Free features are provided at no cost and may change or be discontinued over time. We may apply reasonable limits to free usage to keep the service available and to prevent abuse.

Subscriptions & billing

Our Pro plan is available for $10 per month billed annually, or $12 per month billed monthly, and includes unlimited notebooks, videos, and chat under a fair-use policy, along with AI dubbing. Paid plans and any additional dubbing credits are billed through Stripe; Loomscribe never stores your full card details. By subscribing you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method for the applicable fees, including recurring charges when your subscription renews. Prices, plan limits, and the fair-use policy may change; where changes affect an active subscription, we will provide notice as required. You can review current pricing on our pricing page.

Cancellation & refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time. When you cancel, your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period, and your subscription does not renew after that. Unless required by law or stated otherwise at the time of purchase, fees already paid are non-refundable, and dubbing credits are non-refundable once used. Cancelling does not automatically delete your account or content; you can continue using Loomscribe on the Free plan or request account deletion separately.

Disclaimers

Loomscribe is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI-generated output may contain errors or omissions and should be reviewed before you rely on it. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that it will work with every Loom link.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Loomscribe and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service. To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Termination

You may stop using Loomscribe and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the service, or engage in activity that harms Loomscribe or its users — for example, unlawful content, scraping abuse, or attempts to bypass security or plan limits. Where practical and appropriate, we will try to give notice, but we may act immediately in cases of serious or repeated abuse. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive — such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Loomscribe is established.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time as the product and legal landscape evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Loomscribe after an update means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, please stop using the service.
